Miley Cyrus is a clothes horse, yes, but she prefers to do her shopping for others.
“I spend more time/$$$ shopping for my dogs than myself,” Cyrus confessed on Twitter.
The objects of her affection are Lila, Floyd and Ziggy, and lately, it’s Lila who’s been showered with a whole new wardrobe. Cyrus posted photos of the latest haul, including a casual-cute green hoodie covered in peace signs, and an “adorbbssss” blue nautical dress.
Love Lila’s looks? It’s your lucky day – both are available (on sale!) at PETCO.
Miley Cyrus was planning on joining the vampire craze, but the former Disney darling has decided that Dracula isn’t for her right now.
I can exclusively reveal that the actress-singer is no longer attached to Adam Sandler’s upcoming animated flick, Hotel Transylvania.
Cyrus was to voice Mavis, the young daughter of the quintessential bloodsucker Dracula (Sandler).
So why’d Miley ditch the project?
Some are speculating that she’s more interested in partying than working. However, I’m happy to report that a source says Cyrus simply decided to take some more time to figure out what her next move in the movies should be.
“People drop out of films all the time,” a source said. “Seriously, it’s not that big of a deal.”
Cyrus is currently on a promotional blitz for her cover of Bob Dylan’s “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go.” The song is featured on Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan, an album benefiting Amnesty International.
While it’s still unclear whether Cyrus will be at the Grammys this weekend, I am told she is planning on attending Clive Davis and the Recording Academy’s legendary pre-Grammys party on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Late Saturday, RadarOnline posted an “exclusive” that claimed Miley Cyrus had “weighed in on the Demi Moore controversy” on her Facebook page.
“Everyone needs to leave Demi alone. She’s been through so much the past year. She doesn’t need the crap. How can you talk crap on someone you don’t know?” the site quotes Cyrus as supposedly writing.
The teen superstar then allegedly wrote, “The media makes everyone in Hollywood seem ‘weak,’ ‘stupid,’ or ‘unbalanced’… Just because [Moore’s] in Hollywood doesn’t mean she’s on drugs. NOT EVERYONE IS ON DRUGS!!!”
In case you’re wondering how RadarOnline could have an “exclusive” on something the site claims Cyrus wrote on Facebook, there’s a simple answer.
The quotes are fabricated.
Cyrus never wrote about Moore on Facebook, Twitter, or anywhere else for that matter.
She and Moore headline the upcoming LOL, but Cyrus has not commented on her co-star’s recent personal issues.
“There’s no truth” to the RadarOnline report, a rep for Cyrus confirms to Gossip Cop.
In the latest j-14 magazine Miley Cyrus was featured in an article that Titles Miley stands up to critics: “I’m happy with my body”
The article talks about comments about Miley’s weight and how miley has learnt with criticism from haters.
In the article it reads:
“Miley got fat.” “She’s hiding her weight with loose clothing.” “She should lay off the cheetos.”
These are just some of the comments Miley Cyrus comes face-to-face with everyday on Twitter and blogs…….
Miley recently stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show studios to perform her cover of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go” which will air tomorrow (February 6th). Be sure to check out the preview above.
It’s not just the tweens who love Miley Cyrus: The Disney channel star has a fan in Dolly Parton. “That little Miley Cyrus … she’s like a little Elvis,” the country luminary says in a new interview with AOL Music. “The kids love her because she’s Hannah Montana, but what people don’t realize about her is she is such a fantastic singer and songwriter. She writes songs like she’s 40 years old! She’s really deep.
“And I think that she’s gonna have a big career after that show is off the air,” Parton continues. “I know I’m partial, because she’s my goddaughter. But I’m amazed at the talent that child has and the effect she has on people.”
And Parton, 62, who released her latest album Backwoods Barbie on Feb. 26, is clamoring for a little attention – specifically radio play – herself. “Get Dolly Parton back on the radio! Get me back on mainstream,” she says, when asked what she would change about the music industry. Continues the singer, laughing: “Stop this attitude that older people ain’t any good anymore! We’re as good as we ever were – if we ever were any good.”
